About this race
The Upper Ottawa River Race is back for its 10th anniversary! Join us for a day of flat-water racing for canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and other vessels. Choose your challenge: Open to all ages and skill levels, whether you’re racing competitively or paddling just for fun. Your registration includes an event shirt, a catered meal, tons of swag, and live music & activities to celebrate after the race!

Distances last time

Floating start at Petawawa Point Beach around the islands and returning to the beach. Briefing will occur just prior to the race start. Paddlers are responsible to have ALL required safety equipment
- 4km Race
4 km Flat Water race. Event is a mass start for all vessels. Race is a float start just off Petawawa Point Beach.
- Kids 1Km
A short 1 km race starting at Petawawa Point Beach. Parents are welcome to follow younger paddlers for encouragement
