About this race
The Turkey Gobbler Trail Run offers you the opportunity to pre-burn some Thanksgiving calories with either a challenging 8km route or a stroller friendly 3.5 km route. Kids are encouraged to take part in the 1km fun run. This is the final event of the 2026 Sudbury Fitness Challenge. Proceeds from the event go to support the Walden Nordic Race Team.

This is a challenging course over a variety of trail types. Participants can expect to get their money's worth of hills, rocks, roots grass and mud. By far your best 'bang for buck' of the days events.
- 1km Kids Run/Walk$13.38
This event is accessible to all ages and takes place over a relatively flat crusher dust trail. Easily traversed by a running stroller.
- Turkey Gobbler 3.5 km Trail Run$35.64
This course is gently rolling over double track trails. Jogging stroller accessible(but a bit lumpy in places) for those who want to make it a full family affair!
