About this race

This event is being held in loving memory of Dr. Paul Wawryko, who passed away in December of 2023. Paul was a beloved friend, coworker, and family member to countless people and we plan to honour his memory with an annual 5K event. He was an avid runner, completing the Chicago Marathon 3 times, the Boston Marathon twice, and a half Ironman in Chattanooga. Paul was an incredibly talented and hard working runner,…

• 5k Run/Walk

  Run or walk in-person for 5 km. Registration includes a t-shirt, bib, timing and a medal.

• 2k Run/Walk

  Run or walk in-person for 2 km. Registration includes a t-shirt, bib, timing and a medal.

• Virtual Run/Walk

  Support our memorial run by running 2 km or 5 km from anywhere in the world! An additional fee has been added to this registration category to cover shipping of the event t-shirt and medal.

• Friends of the Run

  Not everyone can lace up and join us on race day - but you can still be part of the event! A “Friends of the Run” registration is a way to support our organization and help make this event possible, even if you’re unable to participate.…
